If you are celebrating a special occasion, we can offer space to accommodate as many as 500 guests by constructing a canopy over the terrace of the Koetshuis. The rooms in both the Kasteel and the Koetshuis are very good venues for festive events or drinks parties and our caterer would love to discuss ideas for the culinary arrangements.
Weddings at Landgoed Nijenrode
Not many people realize that you can get married on our estate. Nonetheless, the historical splendor of Kasteel and the charming ambiance of the Koetshuis make these venues perfect spots for a wedding and we would love to host your dream wedding in the grounds, either during a weekend or in the summer holidays.
Official wedding location
Our estate is situated within the boundaries of the municipality of Stichtse Vecht and is in fact an official wedding location for that municipality. The municipality’s website has more information on how to arrange an official marriage ceremony in Stichtse Vecht: www.trouweninstichtsevecht.nl
You can hold your marriage ceremony in the Kasteel, the Koetshuis or in the Rozentuin – the rose garden – while the estate offers plenty of locations, such as the courtyard in front of the Kasteel, for instance, for toasting the happy couple or cutting the cake.
Another option is to shoot the photo reportage on the estate: the courtyard in front of the Kasteel is a classic setting while the Rozentuin forms an exceptional backdrop to romance, especially when the roses and stinsen plants are in bloom.
If your marriage ceremony or wedding party is held on the estate, there will be no extra charge for using the estate as a setting for your photo reportage.
